One of the reasons I have been stalling so much about starting a regular Yoga class since completing my teacher training is because I didn’t know how I wanted it to look. There are so many Yoga classes out there that are purely focused on the physical practice and postures, which are great, but I was always looking for something more than another exercise class.
I have been a student of Yoga now for quite some time and I am learning from some AMAZING teachers and want to share what I am learning and the benefits it has. Ayurveda which is the sister science of Yoga and English translation Science of Life along side Yoga have been a huge part of my healing journey since March 2017. I continue to be a student of Yoga, a journey which I don’t believe ever ends, and I am now also a student of Ayurveda and I want to share with you some of the basics I have learned that are simple for you to add in to your life.
In this 2 hour workshop I will be introducing you to some of the basics of Yoga and Ayurveda that could freshen up your body and mind with the intention of moving it on to an 8 week course where we will learn and understand some of the philosophy and healing benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda.
What to expect in this workshop:
Simple meditation techniques.
Understanding different body types.
Routines to suit different body types.
Foods to suit different body types.
Yoga postures to help you relax
